Shea butter, also known as African karite butter rich in vitamins and basically unsaponifiable (doesn't loose its beneficial quality during the soaping process), is added to protect and aid against cracked and dry skin.  It is rumored that shea butter could move from an emollient to an "active ingredient" status in the future - a good thing!

A blend of slightly musty patchouli, and clean herbaceous lavender merge to create this pleasant soap.  Even some, who don't care for patchouli, have told us they can easily take this scent.  We've compounded the goodness of the essential oils with highly nutritious goats' milk, honey, and super moisturizing shea butter from the African karite tree.

Our Goat Milk Patchouli soap holds a stronger scent of the earthy, smoky, musky essential oil.  Even though patchouli's odor may be a little too persistent for some, it is often used as a fixative, base note in many of the world's finest perfumes.  Other's find it an aphrodisiac.
